LEBANESE RESUSCITATION COUNCIL
OVERVIEW
The Lebanese Resuscitation Council (LRC) is a nongovernmental organization that was established in 2011 on a group of doctors’ initiative. It is headquartered in Lebanon and it carries out its activities in compliance with the Lebanese laws and under the supervision of the Lebanese Order of Physicians. The main focus of its services is pertaining to management of all kinds of emergencies and disasters. Its practical expertise in the field of emergency allows it to export at national and international level the high technical competence of its members. LRC aims to develop theoretical and practical training workshops provided to all personnel affected directly or indirectly by any type of emergency or disaster but also to population at large.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Throughout the National School for Emergency Care (NSEC), LRC supports more than 18 standard courses accredited by the Lebanese Ministry of Education (MEHE) related to emergency care including (Emergency Medicine Techniques (EMT), basic and advanced life support, pediatric basic and advanced life support, Emergency preparedness, Disaster and crisis management, etc.). In addition, a wide range of tailored workshops, conferences and courses following international standards are organized and offered by LRC.

CONSULTANCY
Providing professional advice and assistance relating to the strategy, structure, management and operations in many fields such as:

LRC endorses publications in line with its objectives whether throughout scientific specialized journal – the Mediterranean Journal of Emergency Medicine – a peer review indexed journal, or other publications, dedicated to children and the public, that aims at raising awareness on public health topics, preventive lifesaving acts and first aid response to emergencies.
